“Haunted” is one of my all-time favorite albums. I had the very good fortune to meet her once after a Depeche Mode concert (she was the opener), and we chatted for a while. She was incredibly sweet! I miss her, and I want her to be allowed to record again, dammit.
Standing just below the stars, four in the morning, surrounded by a crisp and slightly damp mist. She looked beautiful with the ambient light dancing behind her in the fog, playing tricks with shadows. The grass was wet and cold, so I lifted her up and over a patch of tall weeds.
